GINIA earns 9001:2015 Certification

GINIA is very proud to announce that we received our ISO 9001:2015 certification. ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognized set of quality management system requirements that can be applied to any service or manufacturing organization, providing proven, successful approaches to achieving customer, society, and management quality goals. With ISO 9001:2015 in place, we continue to commit our quality management services to all of our existing customers and new customers.

General Udo “Karl” McGregor joins GINIA as a Board of Advisor

GINIA is excited to announce that Brigadier General Udo K. “Karl” McGregor will be joining GINIA as a Board of Advisor.  He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to GINIA.  His last assignment was with the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command as the Vice Commander in Norfolk, Virginia. As Vice Commander, he was in charge of the readiness, training, and deployment of the joint-enabling capabilities provided by the Joint Planning Support Element, Joint Public Affairs Support Element, and Joint Communications Support Element.  In his role as Board of Advisor, he will be advising GINIA management on strategic direction of the company.  We are very excited to have General Udo Karl McGregor join us!

New Director of Business Development joins GINIA

GINIA is pleased to announce the hire of Mr. Douglas McGuire to serve as Director of Business Development. We welcome Doug’s expertise to our team, and we are confident that the knowledge he brings to this leadership position will help strengthen and expand our business development efforts.

Doug joins GINIA with a wealth of experience that includes business development, requirements collection and validation for information operations, and biometrics.

Prior to joining the Private sector, Doug served as a career intelligence officer in the US Air Force. During his time in the military, he deployed in support of Operation DESERT STORM and Operation SOUTHERN WATCH, supporting tactical intelligence operations. In his last active duty assignment, he served as the Legislative Liaison for the Commander, Air Intelligence Agency. He is a graduate of the Joint Information Operations Warfare Command’s Information Operations Planning Course and is an IEEE Certified Biometrics Professional. He holds an MS in International Relations from Troy State and a BA in History from Virginia Tech.

Doug brings decades of experience to GINIA’s team, and his addition will strengthen our marketing capabilities and outreach programs. We look forward to working with Doug, and we are delighted to have him here at GINIA.

GINIA awarded TSA Program Management and Business Intelligence Contract

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Office of Security Operations  (OSO) Performance Metrics Information Systems (PMIS) contract. As part of the re-compete contract, GINIA will continue to provide high level support with software development and management consulting support services to TSA OSO’s information systems. Additional services will include application development, Business Intelligence (BI) support, users requirement gathering, end-user support services and training for 50,000 TSA users across the nation. We are truly excited and honored about our continued service to our TSA clients and look forward to the future!

GINIA awarded task order from TSA

GINIA is excited to announce that we have been awarded Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Application Development support services in partnership with Soft Tech Consulting, Inc.  As part of this task order, we will be supporting software development, software testing, software security testing, user acceptance testing, and database administration support services to TSA OCIO. We look forward to continuing our relationship with TSA and Soft Tech Consulting.

GINIA awarded new cybersecurity task order with USDA

GINIA is excited to announce that we have been awarded a new Cyber Security task order from United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). With this new task order, we will be providing Risk Management Framework (RMF) support services to include vulnerability testing, controls testing, compliance testing, and risk assessment for USDA under our Managed Cybersecurity Service offering. We look forward to building this new relationship and new undertaking.

GINIA receives ISO/IEC 20000 and 27001 certifications

GINIA has successfully earned certifications for ISO 20000-1: 2011 Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System (ISMS).  The ITSM ensures the delivery of more effective IT services, while the ISMS provides a framework of procedures that involve information risk and management processes. Both ISO 27001 and ISO 20000 are among the most widely recognized and internationally accepted standards for businesses. Our compliance with these ISO standards was certified by GMS Registrar Ltd., an ISO certification body accredited by the International Accreditation Registry (IAR). These new certifications, along with our existing ISO 9001:2008 certification, prove GINIA’s commitment to managing risk and improving services to customers.

GINIA wins Cybersecurity contract as part of the FASA Joint Venture (JV)

GINIA has been awarded a new contract in support of the Small Business Administration (SBA) as part of the FASA JV. The contract, based on providing Cybersecurity Services, has a one-year base with four one-year options. GINIA’s work will include Compliance, Vulnerability Testing, Incident Handling, Intrusion Detection monitoring, and ensuring all systems are fully compliant with Federal policies and regulations. We look forward to continually providing support with our Managed Cybersecurity Services.
